company ethics, values, individual performance of every employee, working
knowledge and so on. Such strategies help a company to identify the loopholes
and train their employees to match up to the company’s expectation. However,
the hardest part of this measurement task is making the employees capable of
reaching that ultimate level. There are few tricks that can help you to measure employee performance in the best
way:-
Tricks
to measure employee performance:-
Firstly, keep a track
record of the entire employee’s performance. This track record will include
monthly performance, their development, and experience and so on. It is more
like a journal highlights the positive as well as negative aspects of an
employee. If you don’t have such journal or track record, it will become
difficult for you to evaluate the performance of the employees.
Secondly, ask the HR
department of your company to remind the employees that the management team is
keeping tap on their performance. The HR team will encourage employees to
highlight their best performance done throughout the year. Encourage your
employees to maintain such record with them as well. so, that at the end of the
annual year you can compare the record maintain by the employees along with the
record maintained by the HR department.
Thirdly, prepare
evaluation form and ask your employees to fill it up. The form should be filled
up by both the team leaders as well as his team members. So that, the
subordinates doesn’t feel them dominated or neglected. Team leaders who don’t
encourage their team to fill up such forms are actually being neglected towards
their responsibility they have for the company.
Being
the boss, it’s your duty to look into these matters and manage it properly. A
slightest mistake can create a chaos in the whole business structure. On the
other hand, proper management will motivate
your team to give their best.
